University Residence of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Deadline for accommodation booking: July 25th, 2008
For those wishing to make the reservation, please follow the steps below:
- Download this booking form, complete and return to us by e-mail (sau@fulp.ulpgc.es) or fax (+34 928 459001). Don't forget to fill in all the boxes.
- Once the booking form is received, we will reply by e-mail with availability for the required dates and chosen accommodation.
- You must then reply to this e-mail if you are still interested.
- We will send you the details needed to make a bank transfer. For international bank transfer, please add 6€ to cover bank charges.
- You must send us the acknowledgement slip or confirmation from the bank.
- As soon as we verify receipt of payment, we will confirm the booking.

Application forms only apply to adult accommodation bookings (one per adult). Children accommodation should be booked in advance by e-mail.
During your stay you will receive the original invoice. Remember that until you receive our confirmation the booking is not made. Check-in time is from midday on arrival day and check-out is before midday on departure day. If you wish to lengthen your stay, you must inform us with in a reasonable period of time.
Tafira Campus' Residence
The University Residence, recently constructed and surrounded by gardens, was projected to fulfill the needs of everyone that, as you, has chosen to come to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and are looking for a nice, comfortable place.
The residence has a total of 252 rooms. Every room is individual and has a bathroom. All of them are faced outside, thus being very well lightened and wonderful views.
In the Tafira's University Residence you will enjoy the study room and group work rooms. There are computers available to work and browse the web, as well as a TV room, a cafeteria, sport places and so on.
In the rooms there are telephones and free broadband internet connection as well as a tv antenna cable.
This University Residence offers catered accommodation (breakfast) during the summer period, including weekly linen change and room cleaning every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The University Residence is located in the Tafira's University Campus, at the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A privileged location, which allows you to enjoy pure air and tranquility without resigning from the advantages of being in the city itself. Besides, there is a free transport line which crosses the whole campus, sport facilities, university library, etc.
There are excellent communications between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Tafira Campus.
For those visitors coming for the first time to Gran Canaria island, in airport yo can get the bus line 60 (GLOBAL), reaching the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in about 25 minutes. The line ends at Guaguas station. From there, it is possible to use the lines 328 and 326 (global), that can take you to the Tafira Campus. There you can also find plenty of information about lines, companies, itineraries and so on.
If you are coming from the port, the line is the 71, Puerto - Campus Universitario, or the Guaguas Municipales' line 1 which also stops at San Telmo's park and from there, leaving from the guaguas station, take on of lines 328 or 326 (GLOBAL).

Tafira Campus' Apartments
The complex was built in 2003. It is composed by 77 double apartments with individual rooms, kitchen and bathroom.
Those who lodge in those apartments can use the residence's common places such as: study room, computer's room, TV room, sport facilities and so on.
The apartments consists of two individual bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own shower, free broadband internet connection and a tv antenna connection. The kitchen has oven, stove, refrigerator and basic dishes, forks, spoons, knifes etc.
The University Apartments offer accommodation during the summer period, including weekly linen change and room clearing every Tuesday and Thursday.
They are located about three hundred meters from the building of the University Residence de Tafira.

Las Palmas Residence
The residence has 58 places. Of those, 26 are double rooms and 6 are single rooms. Every room is faced outside and has a bathroom.
In the Las Palmas University Residence you can enjoy the study rooms, as well as the computers, to work or just browse the web, watch some tv and walk on the nice surroundings.
The rooms have telephone, free broadband internet and tv antenna connection.
The rooms also have a medium-sized refrigerator. Each floor has a kitchen with microwave oven. For security reasons, those kitchen doesn't have conventional ovens nor stoves. It is necessary to bring your own dishes.
This University Residence offers catered accommodation (breakfast) during the summer period, including weekly linen change and room cleaning every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Reception is open 24h, during the whole year.
The Las Palmas University Residence is located at the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, at Leon y Castillo street 16, just around the city's downtown. For those who lodge in there, there are excellent transportation services between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Tafira campus.
Visitors coming for the first time to Gran Canaria island through the airport should take the bus line 60 (GLOBAL), reaching the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in about 25 minutes, stopping by the Guaguas station. From there, the visitor can reach the Residence by walking - it's just around the corner - or take a taxi.
